The Egyptian Phytopathological Society (EPS) is committed to respecting and securing the privacy of information pertaining to its subscribers and individuals who register on the EJP Publications Online site.

 User or subscriber data will not be disclosed to third parties for promotional purposes.

- The EJP is dedicated to upholding a high standard of integrity in the content it publishes.

- The journal employs plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions.

- A double blind peer-review process will be implemented for all content published in this journal.

- Peer review aids the editor in making informed editorial decisions and, through communication with authors, may enhance the quality of the manuscript.

- Peer review is an essential component of formal scholarly communication and serves as a cornerstone of the scientific method.

- Reviewers are considerate to treat authors and their data with respect, adhering to best practices in reviewing etiquette.

- Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review a manuscript must notify the editor and decline to participate in the review process.

 

  1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to maintain integrity in their research representations to preserve trust in the journal and uphold the professionalism of scientific authorship. This includes:

- Submitting original work that has not been published elsewhere, in any form or language (either partially or fully).

- Not submitting manuscripts to multiple journals for simultaneous consideration.

- Avoiding any form of plagiarism by ensuring that no data, text, or theories from other sources are presented as if they were their own.

- Presenting results clearly and honestly, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of data (including images).

- When utilizing plagiarism detection software, authors must refrain from making incorrect statements about entities (individuals or companies) that could be construed as personal attacks or allegations.

- Regarding authorship changes, authors should carefully consider the list and order of authors prior to submission and provide a final list at that time.

Any additions, deletions, or rearrangements of author names must occur before acceptance of the manuscript and require approval from the journal editor
